The EV22 Plus series of EV chargers (socketed and tethered models) are smart AC level 2 charging stations, ideally suited for home and commercial installations. This smart charger supports remote monitoring and configuration via a mobile app, which allows the user to control how and when their vehicle is being charged.
Entirely designed and manufactured in the EU, EV22 Plus chargers offer up to 22 kW of charging power (7.4 kW in single-phase mode) and multiple control and safety features for an easy and configurable charging experience. EV22 belongs to a class of EVSE called smart chargers, because its entire functionality can be controlled remotely and automatically. This is enabled by the OCPP 1.6J protocol support embedded in the charger.
The built in WIFI connection allows for synchronization and control via the smartphone app, perfect for scheduling charges to take advantage of cheaper electricity tariffs and ideal for managing costs.
Advanced functionality and user convenience:
Custom charging times to align with your preferred schedule, such as during off-peak hours when electricity rates are lower. Simply select a start and stop time that works best for you.
For those who prefer a hassle-free experience, the plug-and-charge function allows your EV to start charging the moment it's connected. Alternatively, you can manually initiate charging at any time through the app.
Track your charging session in real-time using the Sync EV app. View energy consumption, charging duration, and estimated costs, along with a history of previous sessions.
Adjust the charging rate based on your needs. For instance, you can lower it from 32 amps to 16 amps if necessary. While most users won’t need to modify this setting, it’s a helpful option to have.
EVPoint continuously enhances its app with new features and performance improvements. Updates are delivered automatically, ensuring your charging experience evolves over time.
The sensor can be installed in the main electrical panel after the electricity meter, connected via cable to the charging stations. Through it, the charging station can monitor the power of all consumers in the circuit and will reduce the charging power if the set limit is exceeded.
